Have fun while staying SAFE
This year was different for everyone, since having to be separated from our families to celebrate birthdays or different holidays apart from friends. COVID has made us strong and we certainly have experienced new ways of living, working, and more.
Halloween 2020 looks different, funny pumpkins wearing masks, governments still warning about safety and forbidding group meetings to trick-or-treat.
Also, we are closed to Election Day so many pumpkins are carved out to spell VOTE.
But this is Covid-19 2020, “when our prevailing collective emotion is constant dread and anxiety. There’s a decent chance that for many, that’s going to somewhat negate the shock-relief mechanism that Halloween’s spooky thrills rely upon.” CNN speculates.
People are still finding ways to celebrate this Halloween, with drive-through haunted houses, characters with maks on to scare but protect also, new candy delivery methods, mostly to have a good spirit for children that are still excited to get a costume or candies.
Halloween by internet
Health officials in most of the countries where the tradition is celebrated don’t want people to gather, and France, Greece, Italy, and Great Britain. As in the U.S., some cities that mark Halloween with major celebrations in their castles and spooky places, have announced virtual versions instead.
Small family celebrations, virtual pumpkin-carving competitors, scary home decorations, or drive-in cinemas to watch some scary movies.
So we hope you are having fun and celebrate safely under these circumstances!
Happy Halloween Vaqueros!
